Looking for the Best Prices on a New Subaru Impreza WRX STi?
Try the WhyPaySticker.com Way and Save Some Real Money
The Old-Fashioned Way
1. You can't leave. You're pressured to buy the car today, without the chance to comparison shop.
2. Endless negotiation. You're stuck for hours going head-to-head with a salesman.
3. You're overwhelmed by numbers. APRs, fees, payment schedules—you have to sign right away and there's no time to think.
Our Dealer Network
We generate millions of dollars in sales each month for the dealers. By using our website as the middleman, you can save hundreds of dollars on your purchase. Why do dealers work with us then? Because of the 50,000 cars sold each day, fewer than 500 are sold through our network. That’s a drop in the bucket for the car dealers, but a bottom line price quote for you.
In addition, we'll show you any available manufacturer Rebates & Incentives for your new car.
The Back Door to Savings
A dealership’s Internet department prices its vehicles to maximize the number of cars it sells, not the profit per car. Manufacturers decide the allocation of vehicles and dealer perks on the basis of a dealership's volume.
Coming in through the "back door" levels the playing field for your negotiation and tells the dealer that you have done your research, that you know about rebates, hold-backs, multiple price quotes and all the tricks of the trade.
When you deal with our contacts in the Internet department, you get a firm price quote, and oftentimes the paper work is already prepared when you walk into the dealership.
Depending on your location, sometimes the dealer will bring the car to you at your home or office for a test drive, walk-around, and ultimately delivery.
We keep referring customers to friendly Internet Sales Managers, and they keep selling cars at incredibly low prices.
The WhyPaySticker.com Way
1. Start from the comfort of home. It's so easy with free, no-obligation Internet price quotes from Accredited Dealers.
2. Make dealers compete. You know you'll get the best price with competitive bids from multiple dealers.
3. Finalize the numbers on your terms. Finish your negotiations on your time, then go to the dealership to pick up your new car.
New 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Overview
While Subaru completely remodeled the Impreza sedan and hatchback models for 2012, the WRX STi retains the old body style and underpinnings from the previous platform. There’s no word yet on when a totally new WRX STi will hit U.S. shores, but this delay doesn’t diminish the 2012 WRX STi’s standing as one of the best “bang for the buck” performance cars on the market.
Subaru didn’t completely forget the WRX STi this year, which is available in both 4- and 5-door models. The sedan gets new 18-inch alloy wheels, and both the sedan and hatchback get an upgrade to a touch-screen navigation system.
The WRX STi generates rally-inspired performance with a 305-horsepower, turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Boxer engine with SI drive, a feature that allows the driver to tune the throttle response as desired. The six-speed manual transmission links up with Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system, which can also be tailored to specific needs and allows the driver to adjust the power split between the front and rear axles. EPA estimated fuel economy is 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
The WRX STi sports an aggressive stance and robust design that are clearly distinctive from other Impreza models. The bodywork is wider around the tires, there’s a rear spoiler, and aerodynamic ground effects grace the rocker moldings. The hood scoop is real and provides air to the engine intercooler.
Spirited handling is achieved through the 4-wheel independent suspension, increased spring rates, and thicker sway bars. Other performance upgrades include front and rear limited-slip differentials and huge Brembo brakes at all four corners. Subaru also allows the driver to adjust the level of stability and traction-control intervention in the electronic stability control system. Eighteen-inch BBS wheels are standard on the hatchback and available on the 4-door Limited.
The performance theme continues in the interior with alloy pedal covers, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and electroluminescent gauges. The Alcantara-covered seats are designed with side bolsters and integral head restraints. Leather upholstery and a power moonroof are available in the 4-door Limited package. The base audio system includes AM/FM/CD, Bluetooth®, iPod control, USB port, satellite radio, and auxiliary audio input jack. The optional navigation system adds a 6.1-inch screen and voice-activated controls.
Standard safety equipment includes antilock brakes, side curtain airbags and seat-mounted side-impact airbags.
The 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STi remains one of the best performance values on the road today, and for those who are looking for have some fun with their cars it doesn’t get any better than this.
